I am delighted to share this Software Engineer position for an existing client of ours, looking for someone to work a Hybrid role in West Berkshire. My client is a revolutionary FinTech business that is providing financial tools and solutions across the UK and has been established for over 25 years.

You will be joining a development team of around 20 engineers, where you will be responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of the company's leading FinTech tools and solutions as well as provide ongoing support and development for the team's R&D.

My client offers a relaxed and friendly work environment where they endorse career progression. Alongside a collaborative and supportive team, you can expect a competitive salary up to £60,000 plus company bonus, strong benefits package including holiday purchase, private medical cover and more.

As the Software Engineer, I am looking for:

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • Industry experience working as a Software Engineer/Developer in a small agile environment
  • Exposure to both Front & Backend development for production software
  • Strong testing experience, automation tools, integration and unit testing
  • Infrastructure experience a bonus: Kubernetes, Terraform
  • AWS cloud for deploying, debugging and monitoring web services a plus
  • Bonus if you have any previous experience in Financial Services
  • Previous industry experience in DevOps and CI/CD a strong benefit
  • Use of Git, Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions tools experience beneficial
