As a Production Operative, you will be working as part of a small dedicated team across several production areas to keep the manufacturing plant running smoothly and assist the technicians and operators in organising and maintaining daily operations.
This role is paying one of the highest packages in the geographical area and would suit someone who is hardworking and career-minded.
Responsibilities:- Provide operational cover for the site for production-related jobs.
- Contribute to quality control across the shop floor, reporting on any quality inspection issues and keeping the production area safe and tidy at all times.
- Assist with raw materials intake, weighing samples, allocating stock, and bagging up products for production.
- Operate large scale weighers, recording batch numbers on the IT system and unloading stock off lorries as it comes onto site.
- Support on ad hoc projects across production and manufacturing.
- Previous experience working within a production environment, including food, FMCG, agricultural, beverage, or general manufacturing.
- Must have a full UK driving license and access to a car for commuting (as the site is very remote and not accessible via public transport).
- Must be physically fit due to the manual nature of the job responsibilities.
