This Plumbing and Heating Engineer role is a great opportunity for someone with a commercial or industrial background who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in delivering a high standard across every job. The business delivers commercial installations, refurbishments, maintenance, industrial projects and planned preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out fault finding, remedial repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works across commercial and industrial environments
- Completing plumbing and heating installations in line with current regulations, standards and legislation
- Inspecting and testing new and existing installations, recording results accurately and completing relevant test certificates
- Processing job documentation using both electronic and paper-based systems, including labour, materials and installation records
- Supporting apprentices when required and attending training to continue developing your technical knowledge
Qualifications:
- City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience following completion of training or apprenticeship
- Industrial or commercial experience, with confidence working across varied customer sites
- Full clean UK driving licence, along with personal hand tools and battery tools as a minimum
- A hands-on, organised and professional approach, with strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
This Plumbing and Heating Engineer position would suit someone who enjoys variety, works well independently or as part of a team, and has the confidence to prioritise work efficiently while maintaining a positive and professional approach. The working hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. A fully expensed vehicle and fuel card will be provided, along with workwear and PPE.
