We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our dedicated Quality Management team at G&P.
This role supports a prestigious British high-performance automotive manufacturer and is based on-site in Woking.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead a team of 5-10 Inspectors while supporting quality activities across the site.
This is a hands-on role, with a strong focus on writing and maintaining Work Instructions/SOPs/Test Plans, alongside driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Working hours
Flexibility may occasionally be required to support overtime at the end of shifts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Writing and maintaining Work Instructions, SOPs, and Test Plans.
- Leading and supporting a team of 5-10 Quality Inspectors.
- Conducting Level Zero investigations and root cause analysis.
- Planning and coordinating inspection activities.
- Carrying out layered audits and process conformance checks.
- Driving corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensuring teams have the correct tools, PPE, and documentation.
- Supporting hands-on inspection activities where required.
The ideal Quality Supervisor will have
- Supervisory or team leadership experience within quality, manufacturing, or automotive environments.
- Experience writing Work Instructions, SOPs, Test Plans, or similar documentation.
- Experience investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Knowledge of layered audits and process compliance.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have, but not essential
- Quality inspection experience.
- SAP knowledge.
- Relevant quality or manufacturing qualifications.
