You will be delivering consignment stock to customer sites throughout the local area (up to 50 miles).
You will be using FLTs Counterbalance & Reach Trucks in order to load / unload vehicles, as well as putting away stock in the warehouse.

- Main Responsibilities
- Making regular deliveries each week using the company Van to a group of key customers
- Delivering into each customer’s designated stock holding area
- Stock replenishment, considering stock rotation and monitoring healthy storage conditions
- Conduct stock checks at customer sites, recording figures and reporting them back to the office
- Monitoring stock quantities according to min/max levels set with the customer, and when appropriate, discussing fluctuations in usage with them on site
- Picking, packing and loading of the van ahead of delivery
- Liaise with various internal departments, including the Customer Service/ Planning/ Warehouse teams to ensure stock readiness
- Arranging admission to site with the relevant customer contact when necessary
- To responsibly handle fuel expenses liaising with the Finance team
- To highlight improvements/efficiencies to current processes and feedback to the customer service manager
- To work within business guidelines and procedures, both at the business and on site at a customer

- Full Uk Driving License (up to 6 points).
- External Reach Truck License and external Counterbalance License would be highly beneficial.
- Ability to engage with customers.
- Experience within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to use WMS / ERP / MRP systems.
- Must be flexible on hours for delivery schedule (Either OT or time back if you work over 38 hours).
