Shift: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 16:30 (30 minute unpaid lunch).
Silver Arrow require a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work for a prestigious transport company based in Middlewich. This is a full-time and permanent position.
Your Role:
- Dealing with payment runs, supplier queries, statement reconciliations and aged balances, supported by the 'paperless' software for automation.
- Processing of purchase invoices using the companies electronic invoice recognition software.
- Processing of staff expense forms.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Preparation of suggested payment runs.
- Setting up new supplier accounts.
- Matching and reconciliation of sub-contractor invoices against our logistics system and approval through to our accounting system.
- Ad-hoc tasks as required within the finance team.
What we need from you:
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger role.
- Be adaptable to change.
- Open to learning and progressing within the team.
- Methodical with strong attention to detail.
- Structured approach.
- Ability to work as part of a team but also individually.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Sage accounts experience – preferred but not essential.
