Are you a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based role with long-term opportunity? Our client, a well-established manufacturing business in North Norfolk, is looking to strengthen their engineering team with the addition of a hands-on engineer on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment where you’ll play a key role in keeping machinery running efficiently, supporting continuous improvement projects, and helping minimise downtime across the site. Due to increased demand, this role is an urgent requirement with interviews taking place ASAP.

Maintenance Engineer’s Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance across site machinery and equipment
  • Respond quickly to electrical and mechanical breakdowns
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
  • Support machinery performance improvements and reliability initiatives
  • Work safely in line with company health & safety procedures and standards

Skills & Experience Required as a Maintenance Engineer:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
  • Experience working with production machinery, conveyors, hydraulics or pneumatics
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
  • Any experience within FMCG, PLC fault finding, welding/fabrication or 18th Edition would be advantageous
