About the Role

A specialist CAMHS inpatient service in the Horley area is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a supportive multidisciplinary team caring for young people aged 13–18 with a range of mental health needs.

This 12‑bed unit supports young people with mood disorders, acute psychosis, neurodevelopmental conditions, mild learning disabilities, autism, and disordered eating. The environment is busy, structured, and highly team‑focused — ideal for nurses who thrive in fast‑paced clinical settings where kindness, collaboration and therapeutic engagement are central.

This role is perfect for an RMN who has completed their NMC Preceptorship and is looking for a rewarding position with strong development opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering high‑quality, compassionate nursing care to young people
  • Completing the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
  • Observing, recording and reporting changes in presentation, behaviour and risk
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Promoting teamwork, therapeutic engagement and a safe ward environment
  • Working a rolling rota (3 days one week, 4 days the next)
  • Contributing to a positive, recovery‑focused culture for young people with complex needs
