HGV Technician – 2+ Years Experience Required – Marchington – Permanent Role.
£19.29 per hour, plus enhancement payment up to £300 per month based upon your qualification level
- Monday – Friday
- Rotating weekly shift pattern of 06:00 - 14:30 / 09:30 - 18:00 (40 hours per week)
Silver Arrow require an experienced HGV Technician to work for a prestigious main dealership based in the Marchington area.

Your Role
- Carrying out servicing, inspections and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Completing visual checks, adjustments, fluid replacements and replacing worn components
- Identifying defects and additional work required
- Performing repair work including component replacements and assembly tasks
- Supporting Systems Technicians with more complex repairs
- Retrofitting accessories and conducting start‑up checks
- Resetting service indicators and ensuring accurate documentation
- Cleaning and caring for customer vehicles
What we need from you
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV Maintenance & Repair (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HGV or dealership workshop role
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- HGV Licence (desired)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused approach
- Structured, disciplined work style
- Ability to adapt to changing workloads
- Positive team mindset
