Are you an experienced Electro Mechanical Technician looking for a hands-on role where you can get stuck into assembly, wiring, testing, fault finding and continuous improvement within a fast-moving technical environment?

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

This Electro Mechanical Technician role is an excellent opportunity for a practical, detail-focused technician to join a growing technology business where no two days are quite the same. Working as part of a busy technical and operations team, you will be responsible for building, assembling, wiring, testing and maintaining advanced electro-mechanical systems and equipment.

This is a hands-on Electro Mechanical Technician position suited to someone who enjoys practical problem solving, working from engineering specifications and playing a key role in ensuring products are built, tested and ready for use.

As an Electro Mechanical Technician your responsibilities will include:

  • Building, assembling and configuring electro-mechanical systems, sub-assemblies and components in line with engineering specifications
  • Carrying out wiring, soldering, crimping, cable assembly, mechanical fitting and light fabrication work
  • Conducting bench testing, inspection, fault finding and system validation prior to release or operation
  • Performing routine maintenance, repairs, upgrades and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
  • Maintaining accurate build records, test documentation, maintenance logs and supporting continuous improvement across processes and equipment

As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will need:

  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly, build, test, maintenance or repair work
  • Confidence working with wiring, electronics, mechanical components, hand tools and technical drawings
  • Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and system-level issues
  • Good attention to detail, organisation and documentation skills
  • A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a fast-moving team
