Our client is a global manufacturer based in Newbury seeking an experienced Lean/CI Engineer to join their global team. You will be working directly on supporting transformation and daily management initiatives by taking ownership of ensuring strategies are implemented into the culture and processes in relation to the transformation. You will be making improvement changes in several different departments, including quality, delivery, inventory, margin expansion, culture, and safety. You will work with the senior global team to devise an improvement strategy and move ahead to ensure delivery within timeframes. You will be tasked with delivering and providing ongoing training to facilitate change.
Ensuring Your Success
Ideally, you will have similar experience within a manufacturing environment. Having a demonstrable background in implementing transformation is essential, with the ability to develop short and long-term strategies. A background in delivering change is also essential, dealing with stakeholders of all different levels, and reporting on KPIs and progress is also a key element of the role. Personality-wise, you must be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, who can show empathy. You must have experience developing and delivering training programmes.
