Are you an experienced Bid Manager who can take ownership of the end‑to‑end bidding function and play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth across the company? This is a big, visible role for someone who thrives on pace, loves structure, thinks commercially, and brings clarity under pressure. You’ll be trusted to lead complex bids, influence senior stakeholders, and consistently deliver high‑quality, compliant, and compelling submissions. Whether you’re an experienced Bid Manager or an ambitious professional ready to step up, this role offers real responsibility, real influence, and real progression.

The Role:

  • Own the full bid lifecycle – pipeline to submission to review
  • Lead bid/no‑bid decisions with insight, data and commercial judgement
  • Drive best‑practice governance, compliance and consistency
  • Monitor procurement portals and identify strategic opportunities
  • Coordinate kick‑off meetings, timelines, inputs and stakeholder accountability
  • Create persuasive, tailored bid responses across the business
  • Manage PQQs, ITTs, presentations and portal submissions
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, Design and Leadership teams
  • Build, evolve and control a central bid library
  • Ensure bids are clear, compelling, compliant and client‑focused
  • Embed ESG, sustainability and social value messaging
  • Analyse outcomes, feedback and win‑rates to drive improvement

About You:

  • Is proactive, organised and commercially astute
  • Loves ownership and thrives in a fast‑paced environment
  • Is a stand‑out written communicator
  • Can influence, engage and collaborate at all levels
  • Stays calm under pressure and delivers to tight deadlines
  • Believes great bids are built on structure, insight and teamwork
  • Ideally 2+ years in a bid, tender or proposal role (service‑led environment preferred)
  • Bid writing experience
  • Experience with tender platforms / CRM systems
  • Hybrid working with flexibility and trust
