About the Company

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain workshop job cards, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and efficiently.
- Schedule and book workshop work to support operational efficiency and maximise workshop productivity.
- Liaise with customers, colleagues and key stakeholders, providing excellent communication and customer service.
- Coordinate workshop workloads and support the smooth running of daily operations.
- Assist the Parts Department with ordering parts and arranging subcontracted work when required.
- Cost repair and maintenance work and prepare invoices from job cards and repair orders.
- Process payments, including cash and cheques, and allocate charges to the correct accounts.
- Ensure all parts and labour costs are accurately captured and invoiced.
- Produce reports on technician time, hours sold, workshop performance and key operational statistics.
- Provide budgetary and management information as required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company processes and procedures.
What we need from you
- You must have previous experience working in an automotive Service Department β Ideally with HGV vehicles.
- Technical knowledge or administrative experience in a customer service environment and an excellent telephone manner.
- Excellent organisational and administration and IT skills.
- Proactive approach to work and able to work to deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask.
- Work on own initiative and as a team player.
