ACR is supporting a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to join their busy and dynamic operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on warehouse professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and ensuring operational excellence. Working within a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the warehouse, driving efficiency, maintaining high standards and helping deliver an exceptional service to customers.

Warehouse Assistant Manager’s Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support and motivate warehouse teams across goods in, picking, packing, dispatch and storage operations
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, allocate workloads effectively and ensure targets and deadlines are achieved
  • Monitor stock levels, support inventory checks and investigate discrepancies to maintain effective stock control
  • Provide leadership and operational support during periods of increased demand and manager absence
  • Monitor KPIs and communicate performance updates to senior management

Skills & Experience Required as a Warehouse Assistant Manager:

  • Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment with a strong understanding of warehouse processes
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others
  • Strong attention to detail with experience managing stock accuracy, quality checks and operational standards
  • Experience using warehouse management systems, databases or Microsoft Office packages
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport would be beneficial due to location
