Services provided include content strategy and channel planning, campaign activation, visible leadership and paid media management. The team consists of 8 specialists plugging into many integrated accounts on both a retained and project basis, including Mars, EY, You Can Adopt, Millennium, McCain and the NHS.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled and creative Senior Social Media Manager / Account Director who is well versed in paid, owned and earned media, to work across a variety of exciting accounts across both Corporate & Consumer. We are looking for someone who has in-depth knowledge of the social and digital media landscape and how this complements the traditional PR media mix; a self-starter with varied client experience, who can provide strategic solutions to clients’ business challenges, whilst simultaneously overseeing the creative social output and real-time decision making.
The ideal candidate will be well acquainted with the fast-paced and ever-evolving nuances of social media behaviours and will understand how different social channels will suit different audiences and objectives. Understanding how data can inform decision-making is key, ensuring that learnings from both platform and social listening tools are fed into the overall strategy in order to meet agreed KPIs. A good understanding and experience activating social paid media in order to craft both organic and paid media content strategies is a must.
Experience of end-to-end social and digital channel execution is preferred, enabling this role to integrate with the broader team: from audience analysis and content planning, through to implementation, optimisation, community management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategise, own and deliver the content creation for social media plans across a breadth of clients to ensure they meet their objectives and KPIs – concepting, developing, and delivering against content calendars for both always-on and project campaigns.
- Continuously improve existing strategies and approaches using learnings over time. Aim to be one step ahead in terms of strategic ideas and approaches to help grow and improve their social media presence.
- Impeccable writing skills, with the ability to adopt a variety of clients’ tone of voice. Regularly write and present documents in a range of styles that demonstrate your attention to detail and skills in producing well-written documents.
- A strong team player, up-skilling and working closely with the junior team.
- Brief and work closely with the design team to ensure content is best-in-class, optimised for platforms, and meeting brand guidelines and client expectations.
- Liaise and update clients on a regular basis in an effective manner; confidently delivering updates, results, learnings, and recommendations.
- Maintain an understanding of the influencer and KOL (key opinion leader) landscape – keeping abreast of the latest digital media influencers and industry metrics relevant to your clients.
- Tracking performance against agreed KPIs across social platforms.
