The Role
We are seeking an experienced Film + Entertainment Associate Director (Senior Account Director) to join us on a 12-month maternity contract. You’ll work across a portfolio of TV and Film clients, operating as a member of the senior team providing high level client counsel and acting as a mentor and manager to the team. You will have responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with clients and managing teams to ensure delivery of activity at a consistently high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to develop creative communications strategies and campaigns, supporting successful delivery
- Building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, acting as a senior communications advisor across a range of houses and platforms
- Contributing to strategy and solutions, and bringing new ideas that help strengthen our offering
- Developing and maintaining close relationships with journalists, so they’re open to hearing ideas you pitch on behalf of clients
- Building internal and external networks with colleagues, opinion leaders, journalists, professional associations, online influencers and other relevant third parties
- Sharing insight with your team and the wider Entertainment Practice on developments in media outlets, social platforms, influencers, journalists and techniques
- Planning, integrating and delivering online PR activity as part of clients’ wider digital and traditional PR plans
- Ensuring online opportunities are considered within campaign proposals and ideas
- Developing campaigns for social networks, community sites and user forums that are memorable and deliver earned media impact
- Support senior leadership on issues and crisis management, including preparation, approach and response
- Line management
- Encouragement of junior team members to continue building their digital knowledge
- Acting as a digital point person for the team—spotting skills gaps and suggesting solutions such as training, reading and resources
- Identifying key external digital events and encouraging relevant attendance
- Bringing enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’, proactive attitude
