You support our team as

Project Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Participating in Design Reviews and design & process failure mode effects analysis meetings
  • Technical specification review and resolution
  • Participate in lessons learned reviews
  • Liaise with suppliers/sub-contractors providing technical assistance/guidance/ technical documentation is in place
  • Supplier/Sub-contractor visits. E.g., Kick off Meetings, provide technical support
  • Review certification from suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Monitor manufacturing progress in-house and at sub-contractors
  • Create Test Procedures and complete other technical documents Coordinate and Support 3rd party inspections in line with agreed Inspection & Test Plans
  • Create Risk Assessments and Test Permits for Assembly and Testing activities
  • Carry out Toolbox Talks with assembly and test personnel
  • Supervise and support assembly and test activities
  • Produce test reports and coordinate 3rd party sign-off
  • Conduct Safety Quest audits
  • Monitor condition of test equipment & tooling and coordinate maintenance and replacements
  • Provide Field Service support to clients on delivered projects e.g., inspection, machining, testing
  • both onshore and offshore
  • Dimensional checks during spool fabrication, welding and PWHT
  • Seal Ring Inspections
  • Carry out onsite machining repairs
  • General seat repairs/polishing

Qualifications

  • Minimum HNC/HND Level, technical apprenticeship or suitable referenced experience in an engineering discipline. E.g., Mechanical Engineering
  • Good communication skills
  • Good inspection skills
  • Familiarity with FFL Connector Product lines or similar technology
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office software packages
  • Ability to make good decisions from remote locations
  • Good Project Management/organisation skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines in high pressure environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well as team
