Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial growth: Design and execute strategic sales plans, set and deliver sales/SGP targets, develop forecasts, monitor market trends, and create innovative upselling programmes.
- Customer and contract leadership: Build strong, long-term customer relationships; lead pricing strategy; negotiate contracts and terms; and resolve escalated customer issues to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Business and performance oversight: Work with the MD on monthly and annual targets, track profitability, and ensure the service team consistently delivers against customer and business requirements.
- Team leadership and development: Recruit, coach, and performance-manage direct reports through clear objectives, targets, standards, and regular 1:1 reviews.
- Cross-functional and operational excellence: Ensure effective collaboration across departments, run regular key account meetings, and promote best-practice sharing within the sales organisation.
- Professional standards and ways of working: Act as a role model aligned to company values, continuously develop professional expertise, and ensure effective use of sales tools and CRM systems.
Qualifications:
- Essential: University degree in a technical, engineering, or business discipline with 15+ years’ experience in sales and sales management, including selling intangible solutions or service-based offerings.
- Essential: Proven ability to coach and develop direct reports to higher performance, accurately forecast sales turnover, and effectively manage pipeline and closing activities using CRM systems.
- Essential: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, self-driven and highly motivated, results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and confidence in making timely decisions.
- Desirable: Previous experience in managing a sales team.
- Desirable: Previous sales experience in automotive industry.
- Desirable: Previous track record in selling service package.
- Desirable: Industry knowledge in filtration.
