We are hiring for a Full-Time Butcher/ Head Butcher position with an annual compensation range of £32,000-45,000 in our Alberta, Canada locations!

Main Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Cut beef carcass, sides, and quarters.
  • Prepare cuts of meat (beef, pork, chicken, lamb).
  • Produce fresh sausage.
  • Interact with customers to explain various meat cuts and recipes.
  • Assist in training and developing butcher apprentices.
  • Merchandise products within refrigeration shelving and freezers.
  • Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in traditional butchery.
  • 2 years of butchery experience and pass the Freson Bros. Butchery Assessment.
  • Ability to relocate to rural Alberta, Canada.
  • A passion for the Craft of Butchery.
  • Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 kgs.
  • The willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
