We are hiring for a Full-Time Butcher/ Head Butcher position with an annual compensation range of £32,000-45,000 in our Alberta, Canada locations!
Main Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cut beef carcass, sides, and quarters.
- Prepare cuts of meat (beef, pork, chicken, lamb).
- Produce fresh sausage.
- Interact with customers to explain various meat cuts and recipes.
- Assist in training and developing butcher apprentices.
- Merchandise products within refrigeration shelving and freezers.
- Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in traditional butchery.
- 2 years of butchery experience and pass the Freson Bros. Butchery Assessment.
- Ability to relocate to rural Alberta, Canada.
- A passion for the Craft of Butchery.
- Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 kgs.
- Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
