Organisations everywhere struggle under the crushing costs and complexities of solutions that promise to simplify their lives. To create a better experience for their customers and employees. To help them grow. Software is a choice that can make or break a business. Create better or worse experiences. Propel or throttle growth. Business software has become a blocker instead of ways to get work done.

There’s another option. Freshworks. With a fresh vision for how the world works. At Freshworks, we build uncomplicated service software that delivers exceptional customer and employee experiences. Our enterprise-grade solutions are powerful, yet easy to use, and quick to deliver results. Our people-first approach to AI eliminates friction, making employees more effective and organisations more productive. Over 72,000 companies, including Bridgestone, New Balance, Nucor, S&P Global, and Sony Music, trust Freshworks’ customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) software to fuel customer loyalty and service efficiency. And, over 4,500 Freshworks employees make this possible, all around the world.

The Vibe: Freshworks is disrupting legacy software giants by making enterprise tech fast, intuitive, and genuinely delightful to use. We are scaling fast across the UK and Ireland, and we’re looking for a heavy-hitting Regional Sales Director based in London to lead from the front, build an elite sales engine, and take our ITSM and CX footprint to the next level.

About the Role: Reporting directly to our Country Leader (UK & Northern Europe), you’ll be the strategic engine powering a team of top-tier Enterprise Account Executives. Operating from our flagship London hub, this isn't a sit-back-and-delegate role—it’s high-visibility, high-impact leadership. You’ll spend your time coaching sellers, co-selling in the field with executive buyers, closing six-figure deals, and turning raw UKI market potential into predictable, high-velocity ARR.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Rule the Territory: Author and run the ultimate GTM blueprint to systematically land, expand, and dominate Tier-1 enterprise accounts across the UKI region.
  • Lead the Pack: Coach, elevate, and scale a team of 7–9 Enterprise AEs to smash a collective $4M–$6M+ ARR target.
  • Master the Playbook: Enforce MEDDPICC like a science to maintain razor-sharp forecasting, eliminate deal friction, and keep pipeline health bulletproof.
  • Co-Sell at the C-Suite: Jump into the trenches with your AEs—partnering with Solution Engineers and CS leads to negotiate and close multi-year, strategic agreements.
  • Own the Narrative: Serve as the primary voice of the region, delivering market insights, growth plays, and bold revenue projections directly to global executive leadership.
  • Tech-Driven Execution: Run a tight operational cadence using best-in-class tools (Salesforce, Clari, Gong) for seamless, predictable revenue execution.
  • Build a Magnet Culture: Partner with Talent Acquisition to build a team culture that top 1% enterprise sales talent actually wants to join.

Qualifications:

Who You Are:

  • The Veteran Leader: 10+ years in SaaS sales, with 5+ years leading front-line enterprise teams closing six-figure deals.
  • Domain Native: Deep knowledge of CX, ITSM, CRM, or Enterprise Service Management (ESM) landscapes.
  • Networked in UKI: You know the regional enterprise landscape inside and out and bring an active, well-established executive network.
  • Deal Strategist: Master of procurement, MSAs, and complex stakeholder politics—you know how to turn standard deals into massive expansion plays.
  • Cultural Anchor: You champion transparency, sharp execution, and long-term team growth over quick, messy wins.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Top-of-market base salary with aggressive over-achievement accelerators.
  • Real skin in the game with public company equity (RSUs).
  • Premium UK benefits: Top-tier private healthcare, competitive pension, wellness stipends, and a vibrant, collaborative London office culture.

At Freshworks, we have fostered an environment that enables everyone to find their true potential, purpose, and passion, welcoming colleagues of all backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and ethnicities. We are committed to providing equal opportunity and believe that diversity in the workplace creates a more vibrant, richer environment that boosts the goals of our employees, communities, and business.
