About Freshwave We deliver connectivity where it matters most - across some of the UK’s largest and most complex environments. With over 2,000 connected buildings and 800+ outdoor networks, we play a critical role in enabling seamless mobile coverage in cities, transport hubs and high-demand locations. Backed by DigitalBridge, we combine telecoms expertise with commercial real estate insight to deliver long-term infrastructure solutions—and we’re proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work.

The Opportunity Initially a nine-month contract, this is a hands-on delivery role at the centre of Project Reach - one of the UK’s most ambitious telecoms infrastructure programmes, deploying Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) across major Network Rail stations nationwide. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery across multiple live sites, ensuring each deployment is delivered safely, to quality standards, and within time and budget constraints. You’ll be operating in complex, highly regulated environments - coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing access and approvals, and delivering projects within live, operational rail environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of DAS deployments across multiple Network Rail stations, from survey and design through to build, commissioning and handover.
  • Supporting the Senior Project Manager with programme reporting, escalation management and stakeholder communications.
  • Managing project budgets and cost control, reviewing supplier spend and tracking performance against forecasts.
  • Identifying and mitigating programme risks and issues, including access constraints, possession planning and approval delays.
  • Coordinating multi-site delivery schedules, tracking milestones and proactively managing conflicts across concurrent deployments.
  • Managing Network Rail access and approvals processes, ensuring all documentation is in place ahead of works.
  • Overseeing subcontractor and supply chain performance, ensuring alignment with programme delivery standards.
  • Supporting safety and compliance, including CPPs, RAMS and adherence to CDM 2015 requirements.
  • Producing clear, accurate programme reporting, schedules and risk registers for key stakeholders.
  • Acting as a key interface between delivery teams, suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and issue resolution.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering multiple concurrent infrastructure or telecoms projects.
  • Strong experience operating in complex, regulated or operationally live environments.
  • Experience working within or alongside Network Rail environments.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage programme schedules, budgets and risk independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage with external partners, contractors and internal teams.
  • Experience in service-based delivery environments (not just product or goods-focused projects).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project planning tools (MS Project or similar).
  • Experience delivering DAS, small cell or in-building connectivity solutions.
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and construction safety processes.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. SMSTS, SSSTS, PTS, APM/PMI).
