Freshwater Recruitment is partnering with an established and growing boutique change management consulting firm in London to appoint an experienced Change Manager / Senior Change Consultant on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for high-calibre change professionals who enjoy variety, autonomy, and working closely with senior stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of transformation programmes.

The opportunity

Joining a highly regarded specialist consultancy, you will work across a range of complex change and transformation initiatives, supporting clients through significant business, technology, and operating model change. Engagements span multiple sectors and offer the opportunity to deliver end-to-end change management solutions in a genuinely consulting-led environment.

The consultancy is seeking individuals who can start immediately or at short notice and who thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and delivering change management workstreams across large-scale transformation programmes
  • Developing and implementing change strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, communications, and training approaches
  • Conducting change impact assessments and organisational readiness activities
  • Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Supporting programme leadership teams to drive adoption and embed sustainable change

About you

We are particularly interested in speaking with professionals who have:

  • Previous experience with one of the Big Four consulting firms or a leading management consultancy
  • Strong consulting credentials at Senior Consultant or Manager level
  • A proven track record delivering organisational change, business transformation, or technology-enabled change programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently while bringing a collaborative, consultancy mindset
  • Experience across multiple sectors and programme environments
