A client in the consulting and professional services industry is seeking a Technical Platform & Infrastructure Lead to join the team for an initial contract. You will lead the design and delivery of scalable technical environments that power AI learning experiences, including labs and sandbox environments, while collaborating closely with product and content teams. You will report into the programme leadership team and play a key role in enabling robust, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure to support high-quality learning at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement hosted sandbox environments, including cloud-based infrastructure, VMs, containers, and preconfigured developer setups.
- Define platform and tooling strategy across LMS/LXP integrations, authentication, code execution environments, and analytics tracking.
- Drive evolution of content engines through automation, AI-assisted workflows, and scalable operational tooling.
- Assess technical feasibility, including scalability, security, cost constraints, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
Requirements
- Strong background in infrastructure or platform engineering with experience building scalable developer environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud systems, APIs, containers, and modern AI tooling ecosystems.
- Ability to balance speed, cost, scalability, and reliability in technical decision-making.
