One of our Consultancy House clients has a client in the housebuilding / industrial sector seeking a Consultant to join the team for a short-term engagement. You will advise on best practice for monthly financial reporting and controls for a small industrial business. The consultant will work closely with senior management and finance stakeholders, with the objective of strengthening financial governance, processes, and reporting discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Review existing monthly financial reporting and control processes.
  • Advise on best-practice financial controls suitable for a small industrial / housebuilding business.
  • Support the design and implementation of improved management reporting.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on finance and control topics.

Requirements:

  • Consulting house experience at Consultant level.
  • Strong finance and accounting background, including financial control.
  • Prior experience in housebuilding or closely related industrial environments.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver practical, hands-on recommendations.

Details:

  • Start date: TBC
  • Duration: 4–6 weeks
  • Day rate: £400 - £600 LTD
  • Location: London ~ Hybrid working.
