The Role A leading organisation in the energy sector is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join the team for an initial 2 to 3-month contract.
You will lead the migration, renewal and restructuring of critical enterprise software contracts as part of a major business integration programme.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across legal, finance, technology and programme teams, you will help ensure service continuity, manage contractual risk and deliver strong commercial outcomes throughout the transition.
Responsibilities Lead software contract renewals, exits, novations and migrations across a portfolio of strategic suppliers.
Negotiate with Tier 1 software vendors to secure favourable commercial terms, cost efficiencies and value for money.
Review existing agreements to identify contractual obligations, risks and optimisation opportunities.
Develop commercial recommendations, provide governance updates and collaborate across legal, finance, technology and programme workstreams.
Requirements Significant procurement experience across enterprise software, technology contracts and supplier transitions.
Strong knowledge of software licensing models and contractual frameworks, with Oracle or wider ERP licensing experience highly desirable.
Proven success negotiating with major software vendors in large, complex enterprise environments.
Experience supporting integrations, separations, carve-outs or transformation programmes, alongside strong senior stakeholder management skills.
