A client in the financial services consulting industry is seeking a Senior Consultant – Risk and Controls to join the team for approximately 6-7 months.
You will lead client workstreams focused on operational risk, controls, and regulatory compliance within banking and financial services. Working closely with client sponsors and consulting leaders, you will manage delivery, translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations, and support junior consultants.
Responsibilities
- Design project plans, manage status reporting, and track client deliverables.
- Lead process-mapping workshops and assess operational risks and controls.
- Analyse complex information and present clear recommendations using PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, or Visio.
- Build strong client relationships and oversee high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three years’ experience in banking or commercial financial services consulting.
- Strong knowledge of operational risk, compliance, controls, and international banking regulations.
- Experience conducting risk and control assessments, ideally including process mapping.
- Right to work in the UK, with the flexibility to travel for client engagements when required.
