The Role

A client in the banking technology and financial services industry is seeking a Strategy Consultant to join the team for 6 weeks. The consultant will support the negotiation and delivery of a major strategic partnership with a leading UK financial institution, helping to coordinate stakeholders, manage workstreams and drive programme execution. Reporting into a senior project lead, the successful candidate will oversee day-to-day programme management, support business case development and ensure the efficient delivery of key project milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of a strategic commercial workstream, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions, driving alignment and execution.
  • Develop programme plans, governance materials, presentations and executive-level documentation.
  • Support requirements gathering, business case development, risk management and stakeholder engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Experience gained within a top-tier strategy consulting firm
  • Strong programme management, stakeholder coordination and project delivery capabilities.
  • Financial services experience, ideally within banking, fintech or payments environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to produce high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
