A client in the infrastructure and energy sector is seeking a Manager to join the team for an initial 4-week engagement.
You will support the development of a value creation strategy for a private equity-backed asset infrastructure business, helping to identify growth opportunities and translate them into a robust financial plan. Reporting into the project leadership team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to build, challenge and refine financial models, assess strategic initiatives and support investment-focused decision making.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine detailed bottom-up financial models to assess growth opportunities, value creation initiatives and future business performance.
- Analyse asset financing dynamics and evaluate strategic opportunities, quantifying their impact on enterprise value.
- Support the development of growth strategies, investment cases and implementation roadmaps linking initiatives to financial outcomes.
- Contribute to client presentations, commercial analysis and stakeholder discussions with senior executives and investors.
Requirements
- Strong financial modelling experience, including forecasting, scenario analysis and investment evaluation.
- Experience working with private equity investors, portfolio companies or value creation teams.
- Understanding of asset-backed business models, infrastructure, utilities or energy-related sectors.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, combining strong analytical and communication skills.

- Day rate: Up to £900 per day (Ltd company)
- Location: Hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in a Central London office
