Freshminds is working with a professional services client who are seeking a Chief of Staff to the CFO to join the team for 6 months, with the potential to extend or become permanent.

You will act as a strategic support to the Group CFO co-ordinating across workstreams to deliver key transformation and strategic investment initiatives. The objective of the role is to drive alignment across various teams (internal and external agency), supporting modelling and strategy development, and preparation for an upcoming board presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate multiple strategic and financial workstreams, ensuring delivery against timelines and objectives
  • Act as a liaison between the CFO, central strategy team, and external consultancy partners.
  • Support the development of strategy, financial modelling, and executive-level presentations.
  • Drive project governance, stakeholder communication, and preparation for board-level outputs.

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years experience with a background as Chief of Staff, PMO, and/or strategy consultancy.
  • Experience working in a consultancy house (MBB, Big4, Boutiques).
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling and strategic planning, with the ability to interpret key assumptions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and build relationships across global teams.
