An award-winning boutique management consultancy focused on regeneration and transformation works closely with UK councils to deliver place-based change, from business case development through to implementation. The consultancy has been appointed as a transformation partner for a local authority. As part of a wider growth phase, they are seeking an experienced Consultant or PMO to join the Housing workstream. The role will support the delivery of council-led housing initiatives, contributing to regeneration and community impact.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of housing-related transformation projects
- Manage multiple workstreams, timelines, KPIs, and reporting
- Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders across the council
- Contribute to business case development and project documentation
- Ensure smooth coordination across functions and maintain project momentum
Requirements
- Strong consulting experience from a management consultancy
- Experience in housing transformation delivery or regeneration
- Project/programme management experience
- Public sector experience, ideally within local authorities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously
- Proficiency in business case writing and data analysis
Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 3 months with potential to extend
- Day Rate: Up to £260 PAYE + 12.07% holiday pay (equivalent to £291.38/day)
- Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days in Central London office with occasional site visits (to be confirmed)
