Head of Finance and Operations

An ambitious industrial tech business is seeking a Head of Finance & Operations to lead its next stage of growth. This is a rare chance for a commercially‑minded finance professional to make a significant impact in a high‑growth, innovation‑driven environment.

Taking full ownership of finance and operations, you will set up best‑in‑class reporting and financial tracking, build models to support strategic decision‑making and future funding rounds, and maintain operational continuity, including payroll, payments and compliance. You will be at the heart of scaling core processes from the ground up, bringing rigour and clarity to a complex, high‑velocity setting.

The Role

• Build the finance function from the ground up, leading core financial processes, tracking and modelling to support capital deployment and business planning for future funding rounds
• Maintain seamless operational performance across payroll, legal and regulatory compliance
• Champion operational improvement, implementing scalable systems while ensuring continuity

About You

• Experience building and scaling a finance function in a high growth business
• 2-4 years in investment banking or consulting or as an operator in a high‑growth start‑up environment
• Proven outstanding achievement in your career and/or through extracurricular activities or personal projects
• Ideally holding an accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (this is not essential)
