The Junior Consultant will support JD Edwards ERP implementation projects, assisting in configuration, testing, and user training. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational ERP knowledge and exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, and finance processes.
Overview - Consultant
The Consultant will lead functional areas within JD Edwards implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery of solutions aligned with client requirements. This role requires hands-on experience with JDE modules and strong business process knowledge. For this level you must have experience leading JDE end to end implementations from a Functional perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain and finance
- Analyse business processes and map them to JD Edwards functionality
- Configure JDE modules to meet functional requirements (no coding or technical development)
- Prepare functional specifications for any required customisations (to be handled by technical teams)
- Conduct functional testing and support user acceptance testing
- Develop training materials and deliver end-user training sessions
- Provide post-implementation functional support and process optimisation
- Ensure compliance with project scope, timelines and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in JD Edwards ERP implementations in functional roles (or exposure to ERP if Junior Level, training will be provided)
- Strong expertise in manufacturing, supply chain or finance modules
- Ability to lead requirements gathering and process mapping sessions
- Skilled in configuring JDE modules to meet business needs
- Competence in preparing functional specifications for technical teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in delivering user training and supporting UAT
- Ability to manage tasks within project timelines and quality standards
