You will take a senior lead on the workstream, shaping the story, directing analysis and managing client interactions, while working closely with a dedicated Project Manager and one junior consultant. The role requires rapid synthesis of qualitative and quantitative evidence, confidence with expert interviews and data triangulation, and strong judgement under tight timelines. The team needs someone who can hit the ground running in semiconductors and deliver clear recommendations to investors quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end CDD workstream, owning approach, hypotheses, workplan and outputs
- Shape the storyline and draft key slides, ensuring a clear investor-ready narrative
- Manage day-to-day client engagement, including senior stakeholder updates and steering discussions
- Direct and quality assure analysis across market sizing, segmentation, pricing, competition and growth drivers
- Design and run primary research, including expert interviews, customer calls and partner checks
- Triangulate multiple sources (primary, secondary, internal data) to form robust, defensible conclusions
- Partner with the Project Manager on cadence, resourcing, risk management and delivery discipline
- Coach and develop the junior consultant, allocating tasks and providing actionable feedback
- Identify gaps quickly and pivot the workplan as new evidence emerges
- Deliver concise recommendations, risks and sensitivities suitable for investment decision-making
Must Haves:
- Strong semiconductor sector familiarity.
- Background from a Consulting House (MBB, Big4 or well known Boutique).
- Excellent structured thinking and hypothesis-led problem solving under tight timelines
- Advanced slide writing skills with high standards for insight, clarity and story flow
- Confident in primary research, including designing discussion guides and leading expert interviews
- Strong quantitative capability (market sizing, scenario analysis, triangulation and sensitivity testing)
- Credible and calm with senior clients, able to lead discussions and challenge constructively
- Track record of leading small teams and collaborating effectively
- High attention to detail, quality control and fact discipline, with comfort handling ambiguity
