A client in the management consultancy and urban regeneration sector is seeking Senior Consultant and Consultant level candidates to join the team for an initial 3-month contract. You will support the delivery of complex place-based regeneration and organisational change programmes for public sector clients, working closely with a Project Lead and a multidisciplinary team including consultants and economists. The role focuses on coordinating multiple workstreams, managing stakeholders and supporting high-quality project delivery and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of multiple workstreams across urban regeneration and organisational change programmes
- Coordinate project plans, timelines, reporting and KPIs across concurrent projects
- Work closely with internal team members across a range of seniority levels, including senior stakeholders
- Provide PMO support including project planning, scheduling, RAID management, reporting and governance
- Contribute analytical input to projects, including drafting materials and supporting evidence-based decision making
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consultancy environment
- Act as a proactive, diligent and collaborative member of the wider consultancy team
Requirements
- Proven experience in a consulting or project management role (typically 2–4 years for Consultant, 4+ years for Senior Consultant)
- Relevant public sector experience or exposure
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously
- Experience or knowledge of regeneration, the built environment, property development, public policy, housing, education markets or economic analysis is advantageous
