Our client in a leading life sciences consultancy is working on multiple competitive intelligence projects and requires a strong CI researcher to join the team for three months. You will join the existing team providing support on monitoring, drafting alerts, key highlights/takeaways, reporting, and covering conferences. You will conduct CI research within specific research topics in immunology. You will be tasked with monitoring press releases in the field and preparing high quality Quality Control reports with digested and synthesised key takeaways.

Required

  • Previous consulting experience (at least 1 year)
  • MSc or PhD in life sciences
  • Excellent formatting and QC skills
  • Understanding of the drug development and commercialisation process, including clinical trials and regulatory steps
  • Experience with written scientific communications – in CI, med comms, pharma or biotech; comfortable communicating complex clinical information to a range of audiences
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and command of the English language
  • Experience working across multiple workstreams or projects and managing own workload

Preferred

  • Experience working in competitive intelligence, marketing, market access, clinical development or medical communications
  • Experience building competitive landscapes, undertaking primary, secondary/market research
  • Experience reporting on/summarising pharmaceutical earnings calls or investor materials
  • Experience providing CI coverage, pharmaceutical/drug development support or academic background in immunology - ideally respiratory (asthma, COPD, CRS) indications
  • Experience covering pharma/medical congresses

Details

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 3 months with potential for extension
  • Day rate: Up to £250 PAYE, £300 LTD depending on experience
  • Location: Flexible, ideally hybrid with 2 days per week in Central London office
