The Role
A client in the strategy consulting industry is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to join the team on an interim basis.
You will support the effectiveness of a high-performing European commercial function, driving commercial reporting, revenue analysis, pipeline management, and go-to-market execution across multiple business lines and geographies. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will work closely with senior leaders to generate actionable insights, improve commercial performance, and support strategic growth initiatives across the region.
Responsibilities
- Support commercial reporting, revenue planning, budgeting, pipeline management, and sales conversion analysis across the business.
- Deliver commercial insights through pricing analysis, market intelligence, ROI assessments, and performance tracking.
- Coordinate go-to-market initiatives, key account activities, strategic proposals, and stakeholder engagement across international teams.
- Support the adoption of digital tools, including AI-driven solutions, while contributing to governance, risk mitigation, and strategic decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in strategy consulting or a comparable environment such as private equity or corporate strategy.
- Strong analytical and commercial problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel capabilities and experience handling complex business issues. Experience with analytics and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
