A client in the healthcare innovation and life sciences sector is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join the team for an initial 8-week engagement, with strong potential to extend. You will support external engagement and the development of strategic partnerships between healthcare providers, academia and industry, working closely with senior leadership to progress high-impact collaborations that improve patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and coordination of partnership activities across healthcare, academic and industry stakeholders
  • Help prepare materials for industry engagement, including early scientific propositions and grant funding components
  • Assist with the establishment and administration of a subcommittee focused on partnership priorities
  • Contribute to the progression of collaborations in areas such as mental health technologies, genomics and emerging industry partners on a major biomedical campus
  • Conduct research to identify potential new partners and opportunities
  • Help organise meetings, workshops and events with industry, academic and clinical stakeholders
  • Work closely with senior leadership and strategic advisers, providing logistical and analytical support
  • Draft briefings, presentations and updates to support decision making

Requirements

  • Experience or strong interest in healthcare, life sciences or related sectors (consulting internships, research roles, academic background or early industry experience welcome)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to summarise scientific or technical information into clear, commercially relevant narratives
  • Good communication skills with confidence engaging a range of stakeholders
  • Proactive, well organised and comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Genuine curiosity about healthcare innovation, commercialisation and partnership development
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders
