Job Description:
Our client is a global retailer in the midst of a large transformation, and seeking passionate analysts to join the team. This role is part of the Insights and Analytics function where you will join the newly formed and growing team of internal consultants helping the business to identify and deliver value and growth through strategic analytics.
The model is built around centralised groups closely embedded into business functional areas like supply chain, retail, and pricing, working on high-profile areas. This is an exciting and challenging role that offers the opportunity to deliver large projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and assess data from sources across the business to identify opportunities to deliver value or solve problems.
- Scope and recommend solutions and the approach to delivering results.
- Support workshops with experts and end users to design effective solutions.
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary squads to design, trial, problem solve and stress test changes to ensure they are right for the business, colleagues, customers and communities.
- Remain focused on the end users and BAU, ensuring changes are designed for adoption to deliver measurable results.
- Support the delivery of new operating procedures into BAU.
- Support the delivery of transformation projects as a functionally agnostic champion.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in consulting and analytics, retail/consumer sector experience preferred
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making
- Proficient in SQL and Excel;
- Python and Power BI are desirable
- Comfortable working with vague business briefs and translating them into actionable insights
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and communicate clearly across levels
- Focused on delivering impact, not just reporting
