A client in the corporate real estate consultancy sector is seeking a Senior Workplace Change Consultant to join the team for a 12-18 month engagement. You will act as the senior, day-to-day change lead embedded within a client organisation, delivering a large-scale workplace change programme from mobilisation through to post-implementation. Reporting into a light-touch senior programme sponsor, the objective of the role is to translate workplace strategy into practical delivery and embed sustainable new ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead end-to-end workplace change programmes through full implementation
- Act as the senior day-to-day workplace change lead within the client organisation
- Engage, influence and manage complex and potentially resistant stakeholder groups
- Develop, own and deliver the change roadmap from mobilisation to post-implementation review
- Lead communications, engagement and adoption activities to embed new ways of working
- Translate agreed workplace principles into practical, on-the-ground delivery plans
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for delivery outcomes
- Represent the consultancy with senior client stakeholders throughout the assignment
- Work effectively with limited delivery support and light senior oversight
Requirements
- Director-level profile or equivalent senior experience
- Recent, demonstrable experience leading workplace change programmes end-to-end
- Strong hands-on implementation leadership rather than advisory-only experience
- Clear personal accountability for delivery, outcomes and decision-making
- Proven experience operating in politically and culturally complex environments
- Credibility and confidence engaging senior client stakeholders from day one
- Resilient, pragmatic and people-centred approach to change

- Start date: Availability to start in Q2
- Duration: 12-18 months FTC
- Day rate: £900-£1,000 Per Day FTC
- Location: London and Southeast, with 2-3 days per week on site
