A client in the public sector transformation space is seeking a Consultant/PMO to join the team. You will support the delivery of social care transformation projects within a local authority, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and improved outcomes for the community.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of social care transformation initiatives
- Manage multiple workstreams, timelines, KPIs, and reporting
- Liaise with internal teams and council stakeholders to maintain alignment
- Contribute to business case development and project documentation
- Ensure smooth coordination across functions and maintain project momentum
Requirements
- Strong consulting experience from a management consultancy (Big 4 or similar)
- Proven experience in social care transformation or related public sector projects
- Project/programme management experience within complex environments
- Public sector experience, ideally within local authorities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously
- Proficiency in business case writing and data analysis
Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 3 months with potential to extend
- Day Rate: Up to £260 PAYE + 12.07% holiday pay (equivalent to £291.38/day)
- Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days in Central London office with occasional site visits
