A client in the B2B services sector is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (CRM Vendor Assessment) to join the team for a 7-week contract. You will lead a structured assessment of Salesforce versus Microsoft Dynamics, reporting into the programme lead on a wider Lead-to-Cash transformation. The objective of the project is to define the optimal CRM platform, clarify integration requirements, and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders to support an informed vendor selection.
Responsibilities
- Lead a structured vendor assessment of Salesforce versus Microsoft Dynamics
- Run requirements-gathering workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Map current Lead-to-Cash processes and define future-state process designs
- Evaluate integration needs across a complex, multi-system landscape
- Analyse functional, technical, and commercial trade-offs between CRM options
- Produce clear documentation, including options papers and recommendation decks
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and project leadership
Requirements
- 5–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments
- Strong BA fundamentals, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation
- Hands‑on familiarity with Salesforce and/or Microsoft Dynamics in a project setting
- Experience working on CRM, Lead-to-Cash, or sales process transformation initiatives
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and driving structure and clarity
- Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively to move workstreams forward
- Prior experience in vendor assessment, tool evaluation, or product selection is highly desirable
