We’re partnering with a growing legal finance firm to hire an Investment Analyst who will play a key role in evaluating funding opportunities and shaping investment decisions within a high‑performance team.
What you’ll be doing?
- Reviewing legal finance and litigation funding opportunities, assessing creditworthiness, collateral, and case strategy
- Building financial models to forecast funding needs and expected returns
- Preparing clear investment papers and recommendations for the Investment Committee
- Supporting portfolio monitoring through dashboards, analytical tools, and data insights
- Working closely with investment, legal, and operational teams to understand risks and commercial drivers
- Evaluating new case types and emerging opportunities within the legal finance sector
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in investment analysis, credit analysis, consulting, or financial services
- Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Law, Business or similar; postgraduate qualifications (CFA, ACA, LPC/LLM) helpful but not essential
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and financial modelling skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to assess risk–return in non‑traditional asset classes
- Fluent English communication, with strong clarity and attention to detail
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset - someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑ownership environment
