A client in the software and data solutions industry is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the team for approximately 6 weeks. You will lead a structured competitive assessment of a major enterprise FP&A and Corporate Performance Management platform, reporting into the client's corporate strategy function. The objective is to benchmark the platform against key competitors and provide actionable strategic recommendations for future product direction.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a structured competitive benchmark of an FP&A and EPM platform against major market alternatives
  • Assess strengths, weaknesses and feature gaps across core functional areas
  • Analyse emerging AI capabilities and evolving customer expectations within the performance management category
  • Synthesise findings into strategic recommendations for product development and portfolio direction
  • Coordinate supporting research including desk research and customer interviews
  • Produce high-quality consulting outputs for senior strategy stakeholders

Requirements

  • Strong experience with FP&A and EPM platforms such as Anaplan, OneStream, Adaptive, Oracle EPM, SAP, or equivalent
  • Direct enterprise implementation experience in complex corporate environments
  • Ability to structure and deliver rigorous strategy-consulting-style assessments
  • Strong understanding of AI trends in enterprise performance management software
  • Proven ability to synthesise technical, commercial and market insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experience managing research streams and engaging with customers and stakeholders
