Competitive Intelligence Consultant - Life Sciences in City of London

A client in the life sciences consulting industry is seeking Life Science and Competitive Intelligence consultant to join the team for a 3-4 month project.

You will support internal project teams with high‑quality research and analysis across respiratory, immunology and oncology therapy areas. This is a remote role focused on delivery, with no client‑facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research and occasional primary research across key therapy areas
• Perform daily monitoring, landscape analysis, and produce high‑quality alerts and reports
• Support internal teams with syndicated report production and CI engagement
• Consolidate news and data, drawing strategic implications for client projects
• Quality control of deliverables including decks and written outputs
• Collaborate with senior and junior team members to meet tight deadlines

Requirements

• Proven prior experience in life sciences consulting or competitive intelligence in a consulting setting
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and synthesise news and data
• Familiarity with oncology, respiratory and/or immunology therapy areas
• Experience producing syndicated reports and CI deliverables
• Ability to quickly grasp new therapy areas and work independently
• Language capabilities in Japanese, Korean or Chinese are a plus

• Day rate: Up to £250 Ltd / £200 PAYE per day
