The Social Media Manager role sits within the global communications function as part of the social media team and is responsible for executing the firm’s global social media strategy. The role reports directly to the global social media lead.

Key responsibilities

  • Support global and locally focused marketing campaigns with content development across corporate and personal social media channels.
  • Plan, create and publish social media content to support the activities of marketing and business development colleagues, with a consistent tone of voice and brand presence.
  • Monitor social media platforms to identify risks and opportunities to enhance brand reputation.
  • Provide an enhanced layer of ongoing social media support to key executives.
  • Deliver a curated stream of content via a social media employee advocacy tool.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the weekly LinkedIn Newsletter.
  • Measure and report on effectiveness of social media performance, with recommendations and actionable insights.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the firm’s global social media requirements as necessary.

Key requirements

  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience of successfully developing and implementing social media initiatives and campaigns, preferably in a B2B context, either in-house or agency.
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong focus on social media copywriting.
  • Experience of managing multiple social media channels, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram and video platforms including YouTube.
  • Experience of social media publishing and employee advocacy tools, and visual design tools for image/video creation and editing.
  • Ability to interpret large volumes of data and succinctly present actionable insights.
  • Confident and self-motivated with excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
