This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with experience in legal research to make a real impact, as part of a high performing marketing and business development (MBD) team within a global law firm. You’ll gain a deep understanding of Litera’s Foundation experience management platform for capturing credentials and matter knowledge. You’ll assist users with data requests, system related queries, and experience searches to support pitches and proposals. You’ll enter, update and enrich data, verifying information and editing content, to ensure a high level of quality and consistency.
What you’ll do
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s global experience management system, acting as a subject matter expert.
- Manage and maintain data quality and experience capture processes, and deliver technical support to users.
- Check data for errors, inconsistencies and incomplete information, find and fill gaps, and standardise credentials to ensure a high level of accuracy and consistency.
- Carry out complex experience searches, develop reports and help users orient their own searches, signposting them to relevant guidance and resources.
- Explore and leverage AI tools, such as Co-Pilot and Writer, to streamline and automate experience capture.
- Support adoption by monitoring usage of the system, reviewing and analysing metrics using Power BI dashboards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the system, existing data, processes and workflows.
- Build and manage relationships with other members of the experience management and MBD teams, knowledge lawyers and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- Educated to degree level, with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience of carrying out complex legal and business research in a law or professional services firm (eg in a research/library/knowledge management role).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Confident proactive team player, able to work collaboratively and independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strongly self‑motivated, with the ability to use your initiative and learn quickly.
- Highly organised and resilient, able to manage and meet multiple deadlines.
- Highly IT literate, proficient in Microsoft 365 (including Excel) and experienced in managing, manipulating and validating data.
- Knowledge of Litera’s Foundation experience management platform.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI and/or Power Automate.
- Experience of using AI tools such as Co-Pilot and Writer.
