We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to join our Global Marketing & Business Development function, supporting the Private Capital sector, with a particular focus on Real Estate. This is a key role within a high-performing international team, offering the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of a leading global firm. Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders, you will help shape and execute business development and marketing initiatives that strengthen client relationships, enhance market positioning, and drive sustainable growth across complex, multi-jurisdictional markets.

The opportunity Operating at the heart of a collaborative global function, you will play an integral role in delivering sophisticated, sector-led strategies aligned to the evolving needs of private capital sponsors, institutional investors, real estate funds, developers, and multinational clients. You will work in close partnership with colleagues across business development, research, communications, CRM, and events, supporting a seamless and high-quality approach to client engagement and market positioning.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of strategic business development and marketing plans for the Private Capital sector
  • Producing high-quality credentials, pitch materials, and capability statements for strategic opportunities and panel processes
  • Contributing to targeted campaigns, thought leadership, and profile-raising initiatives across global markets
  • Identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships through the effective use of CRM systems and marketing technologies
  • Supporting the delivery of high-impact client events and strategic engagement initiatives
  • Coordinating legal directory submissions, including Chambers, to enhance market recognition
  • Maintaining best-in-class internal infrastructure, including credentials databases, knowledge platforms, and marketing collateral
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and promoting a collaborative, “one team” global approach

About you You will bring a strong foundation in business development or marketing within a professional services environment, alongside the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven setting. Your experience is likely to include:

  • A background within legal services, professional services, consultancy, financial services, technology, or real estate
  • Demonstrable experience supporting strategic business development initiatives, pitches, or sector programmes
  • Excellent communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and quality
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, often to tight and evolving deadlines
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, combined with the confidence to work independently
  • Strong organisational capability and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • An interest in Private Capital and global markets is essential; experience within Real Estate is advantageous but not required.
