We are looking for a Workday Reporting Specialist to join our HR Reporting Team. This role is ideal for someone with some experience in reporting within Workday, who is eager to grow their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for generating and maintaining reports, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the reporting needs of the firm's People data needs.
Key responsibilities and deliverables
- Report Generation & Maintenance: Develop and generate standard and ad-hoc reports from Workday to support the firm's people data needs. Customize existing reports within Workday to meet evolving business needs. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and meet business requirements.
- Data Management: Maintain data integrity by validating and cleaning data before report generation. Troubleshoot data discrepancies and work with stakeholders to resolve issues. Assist in the creation of data feeds and extracts for external reporting systems, if needed.
- Stakeholder support: Collaborate with HR teams and other departments to understand reporting needs and provide insights through Workday reports. Provide end-user support for report generation, troubleshooting, and training as needed.
- Reporting Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve report efficiency, accuracy, and functionality. Assist in optimizing Workday reporting features and simplifying complex reports for easier access.
- System Knowledge & Training: Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features in Workday reporting. Assist in developing training materials and documentation for internal stakeholders on how to use Workday reports.
Key requirements
- Essential: Experience in Workday report building, calculated fields and dashboarding. Strong proficiency with Excel and basic data manipulation. Good understanding of HR data, processes, and systems. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve data issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
- Desirable: Experience working in the legal sector, with an understanding of the unique HR needs in a law firm or legal organization. Workday Reporting Pro.
