Are you a detail-oriented analyst with a passion for data accuracy, pricing operations and process improvement? We are looking for a Rates & Timekeeper Analyst to join our Commercial Pricing Team, supporting a global business and playing a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of client rate agreements and the integrity of key financial data. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a highly collaborative pricing function, partnering with stakeholders across the firm to deliver commercial excellence and support informed decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage and implement client rate agreements and pricing arrangements within firm systems.
  • Maintain and enhance fee earner and matter data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance.
  • Review financial information relating to new matters, ensuring alignment with client engagement terms, fee agreements and outside counsel guidelines.
  • Support the wider Commercial Pricing Team with complex rate-related queries and system solutions.
  • Provide guidance on pricing protocols and best practice to stakeholders across the business.
  • Manage people data within the finance system, ensuring experience levels and organisational structures are accurately reflected.
  • Perform system maintenance and housekeeping activities to support billing and business operations.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis for senior stakeholders, including the Commercial Pricing Team and Global Pricing leadership.
  • Investigate system issues, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend process enhancements.

Desirable experience:

  • Experience using 3E or other finance systems.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Previous experience within legal, professional services or financial services environments.
